Hearing Dogs for Deaf People Charity Dog Walk
April 15 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Join us for this popular walk on the Arley Estate near Northwich and help raise funds for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. The circular route of just over three miles takes in Big Wood, which is not normally open to the public, and the pretty hamlet of Arley Green. There is a great diversity of wild birds in the wood and displays of bluebells and other wild flowers in the spring. Across the Lady Park there are views of the imposing Arley Hall.
This is generally an easy walk, suitable for most people and dogs of average fitness, but not wheelchairs or pushchairs. About two thirds of the route is on hard surfaces but there are sections over bark paths or grass. Walkers must wear suitable clothing and footwear and dogs must be kept on short leads at all times.
Registration opens at the Stableyard 10.00 am.
Restaurant, gift shop and toilets.
Walk starts at 11.00 am and will take about 1½ hour
