Sunday 26 September - Regency Dancers
The Regency Dancers are a group of dancers based in the North West of England. They perform dances popular from the 17th to early 19th centuries in Regency style costume, accompanied by their musicians and will be performing at Arley at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.
The style of dance was both elegant, graceful and genteel and it played a crucial role in courtship. As the great Jane Austen herself once said "to be fond of dancing is a certain step towards falling in love!" At that time dancing was very central to everyone's life - indeed accomplished dancing was linked with high achievement, grace, and harmonious thinking! Sunday 26 September - Porsche Club
The North West Region of the Porsche Club GB (PCGB) is this year holding a new Regional Event at Arley Hall.
Combining traditional car festival features - including a “60 years of Porsches” display, concours competition and specialist trade stands - with a range of attractions with wider appeal, “Porsches at Arley Hall” aims to provide an exciting day out for both car enthusiasts and other members of their families. Family attractions will include organic food products, country clothing, jewellery, a bookstall, laser clay pigeon shooting, racecar simulators, and a mammoth Scalextric circuit, and there will be a “Help for Heroes” stand, with a climbing wall and assault course, manned by soldiers of the 1st Battalion Mercian Regiment (“The Cheshires”). Others are welcome, but we wish to avoid duplication.

Sunday 17th October - Wedding Link, Wedding Fair
See the Hall and Olympia set up ready for a wedding and meet suppliers. 11.00 am - 3.00pm, a fabulous selection of the area's finest wedding specialists including live entertainment PLUS two stunning catwalk fashion shows at 12 noon and 2.00pm featuring exquisite bridal gowns, ladies fashion and menswear. Shopping spectacular at Arley, quality gifts and crafts. Open from 11am - 3pm.
December 2010
Saturday 4th - Sunday 12th December - Christmas Floral Extravaganza.
The Magic of Christmas comes alive with the scent and spectacle of thousands of fresh flowers in breathtaking floral decorations around the historic Hall. The Hall is magnificently decorated by local Florists. With Floral demonstrations and candlelight and carols evenings is a beautiful time of year. A craft fair on the first weekend with artists and bell rings in the courtyard of Olympia make this an extra special christmas celebration.
Once again 10 local schools will each decorate a tree to be displayed in the Cruck Barn during the extravaganza, all the trees have kindly been donated by High Legh Garden Centre.
