Newsquest Wedding Fair - Sunday 19th February
Visit Arley and see how beautiful it is for your wedding, up to 40 wedding suppliers will be exhibiting and available to discuss any requirments or ideas you may have for your special day. Open from 12pm - 4.00pm, admission is free. There will be a Bridal shows at 1pm and 3pm.

Galloway Antinques Fairs - Friday 9th - Sunday 11th March
Nationally known antiques and fine art dealers will be exhibiting at this event, there will be Furniture (Town & Country), Porcelain (English & Continental), Jewellery, Clocks, Silver (English & Continental), Sculptures, Glass, Paintings, Treen, Objets De Vertu, Antique Fishing Tackle as well as Antique Maps and Prints.

Open from 10:30am - 5pm. Admission £5.00 children under 16 free, for further details contact 01423 522122 or 07966 528725. Refreshments will be available.
Willow Weaving Course - Tuesday 13th March
This months course will be making chickens and cockerels, contact Juliette on 07949640613 or juliettehamilton@btinternet.com to book a place.

The course runs from 10am - 3.30pm and is £46 per person for the day including taking your willow weaving home. The Tudor Barn Restaurant will be closed so you need to bring a packed lunch.
Young Musician Competition Final - Sunday 25th March
A competition in both Instrumental and Vocal for under 19 year olds. Lower Division - grade 4 - 6 and Upper division - Grad 7 and above.

Spring Plant Fair - Sunday 1st April
Specialist nurseries selling unusual plants, shrubs and trees, spring flowering bulbs as well as trough planting demonstrations by the Arley Gardeners will also be taking place at Arley in the Stable yard. Open from 10am - 4pm, Adults £1.50 (reedemable against optional entry to The Gardens) Children free, dogs welcome on a lead.
Easter Gift & Food Fair - Saturday 7th April - Monday 9th April
Creative Crafts will be holding an Easter Gift & Food Fair at Arley over the Easter break, the fair will be held in The Hall with an additional large marquee with around 70 stalls selling a wide variety of hand made crafts, unique giftware and tempting food.

Open from 10am - 5pm each day admission will be £2.50 (redeemable against garden entry). The Tudor Barn Restaurant will be open for refreshments.

Enjoy carpets of bluebells and many other wild flowers in the magnificent Big Wood, part of the Arley Estate not normally open to the public. Enjoy the woods in their spring-time glory and listen to the glorious spring birdsong, walk by the lake and see many kinds of water birds and learn about the history and ancient agricultural Estate from your guide.

The Walks last approx 1 & 3/4 hours and run each day at 11am, 12 noon, 1pm & 2pm, booking is essential. The route takes you on footpaths through woods and fields, visitors should wear suitable footwear and waterproof clothing. Unfortunatley the walks are not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Adults £2.50 Children (5-16) £1 Children under 5 Free (entry prices are redeemable against optional entry to the Gardens).

Plant Heritage Plant Fair - Sunday 13th May
Plant Heritage is the world’s leading garden plant conservation charity. Formerly known as the National Council for the Conservation of Plants & Gardens (NCCPG), Plant Heritage brings together the talents of botanists, horticulturalists and conservationists and the dedication of keen amateur and professional gardeners.

Open 10 - 4, admission £2 reedemable against entry to the Hall & Gardens.

National Gardens Scheme at The Old Parsonage - Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th May
Lord and Lady Ashbrook open their own personal garden for visitors from 2 - 5.30. Admission £4. The 2 acre garden in an attractive and secretive rural setting is in a seculded part of the Arley Estate, with ancient hedges, herbaceous and mixed borders, shrub roses and climbers leading to a woodland garden and unfenced pond with gunnera and water plants. Rhododendrons, azaleas, meconopsis, cardiocrinums and some interesting and unusual trees. Wheelchair access over mown grass. The gardens give all the money raised directly to the NGS, including from the sale of teas which then goes to nursing, caring and gardening charities as part of the National Gardens Scheme.

Arley Wedding Fair - Sunday 10th June
See the Hall set up for a wedding and speak to the Arley specialists who currently supply everything you could possibly require on your wedding day, from flowers and photographers to wedding cars, live music and chocolate fountains!

The Cheshire East Registrar will also perform a wedding ceremony presentation at 1pm. Open 11am - 3pm, free admission.

Arley Garden Festival - Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th June
The annual Arley Garden Festival with Floral Marquee, plant nurseries and horticultural accessories will this year have a Countryside Marquee which will add an extra element to the show, incorporating dry stone walling, stick making, coppice fencing and the badger group. The Festival will also include a mouth watering food fair and art exhibition as well as a photographic competition open to all ages which is new for this years show.

National Gardens Scheme at The East Garden - Sunday 1st July
Jane Foster, Lord Ashbrook's sister, opens her own personal garden for visitors from 11.00 - 5.00. Admission £3. A beautiful and interesting garden on the east side of Arley Hall developed since 1992. Old shrub roses, early summer perennials and circular herbaceous borders enclosed by yew hedges. Many varieties of hardy herbaceous perennials.

The gardens give all the money raised directly to the NGS, including from the sale of teas which then goes to nursing, caring and gardening charities as part of the National Gardens Scheme.
Outdoor Concert & Fireworks - Saturday 7th July
Dave Finnegans Commitments, JK as Robbie Williams, Gordon Hendricks as Elvis plus special guests. Bring a picnic and party in the park with spectacular fireworks as the finale. Gates open at 5pm.

Education

Arley also welcomes school visits, at primary school level, to spend a day at Arley learning about The Hall and how people used to live, The Gardens and how the garden grows and develops through the seasons and finallyby planting seeds to take home to watch grow. We also invite schools to be involved in major events at Arley, such as the Garden Festival and Christmas as well as working with schools on longerterm growing project in the kitchen garden.
