The Levellers" A BEAUTIFUL DAY OUT"

On Saturday 12 July Arley Hall welcomes The Levellers supported by Seth Lakeman & The Three Daft Monkeys.

One of this country’s most respected folk bands has been announced to perform at Arley Hall near Northwich in the IML Concerts Summer series.

IML have expanded the evening concert at Arley Hall into a mini-festival with gates now opening at 12 Noon and over 9 hours of entertainment being created to make it a Beautiful Day Out !

Levellers, who this year celebrate their 20th anniversary, will be on stage on Saturday 12 July in the latest open-air picnic-style concert to be presented in the grounds of this fine Cheshire country house.

Alongside this outstanding band will be one of the finest fast rising stars of the music industry with his unique lyrical voice, the hugely talented Seth Lakeman whose first album “Kitty Jay” was nominated for a Mercury Music Prize.

Together their rousing folk melodies and passionate lyrics will guarantee a night of outstanding musical entertainment. They will be supported by one of Cornwall’s finest trios, 3 Daft Monkeys.

Levellers are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. The band started their career in 1988 and have gained a reputation as one of Britain’s best live acts by their un-relenting commitment to touring and performing at festivals. They were recently honoured with the award for “Festival Feel-Good Act” at the 2007 UK Festival Awards, voted for by the public.

There will be catering and refreshments concessions on the night including a bar serving a wide range of soft and alcoholic beverages

We do not allow barbecues, open fires, garden flares, windbreaks, gazebos or tented structures.

There is Free Parking on the site with special disabled access and with a parking area within 100m of the concert arena.

Admission:  Gates open at 12:00 noon- Performance starting at 1.00pm (until approx 10:30pm) with firework finale.
