NGS Open Day – The Old Parsonage

May 16 @ 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Open on the 16th and 17th May, this is the home of Rowland Flower the eldest son of Lord & Lady Ashbrook who own the Arley Estate, they open their 2 acre garden which is in its attractive and secretive rural setting in a secluded part of the Estate only as part of the National Gardens Scheme. It has ancient yew hedges, herbaceous and mixed borders, shrub roses and climbers leading to a woodland garden and unfenced pond with gunnera and water plants. Rhododendrons, azaleas, meconopsis, cardiocrinum and some interesting and unusual trees.

Since its foundation, the National Gardens Scheme has donated over £45 million to nominated beneficiaries, of which nearly £23 million has been donated within the last ten years. Our continuing support means that for most of our beneficiaries we are the largest cumulative donor in their histories. Beneficiaries include Macmillan, Marie Curie, Hospice UK, Perennial and more.

Plant stall and home made cream teas available.
