Running all year round is the Betty Ridge Exhibition, celebrating the 250th anniversary this year of the romantic marriage of Lord Ashbrook’s ancestor, 2nd Viscount Ashbrook, to a Thames fisherman’s daughter. There is also a book available in the gift shop called The Water Gypsy which tells the complete story of Betty and her life. Entry into the exhibition is included in normal entry price to the Hall & Gardens.
