West Gables is a stunning, four bedroom property located within the courtyard of historic Arley Hall and Gardens.

On the doorstep are the Estate's award-winning gardens, arboretum, woodland walk, café and plant nursery, all set against the scenic backdrop of the rolling Cheshire countryside. Guests staying at East House have complimentary access to all of the facilities on-site (during opening hours).

Access to the cottage is through the main courtyard with its stunning archways and beautiful decorative brickwork which has stood the test of time and showcases the attention to detail of a bygone era of elegance and class.

West Gables has been restored with a bright and airy feel throughout. On the ground floor, this spacious home boasts a modern well-equipped kitchen with dining area and open-plan sitting room with lots of comfortable seating and a wood burning stove, perfect for the cooler evenings.

On the first floor are four tastefully furnished bedrooms, two of which have 6' super-king size zip and link beds that can be converted into 3' twin single beds on request, one twin bedroom and the principle bedroom which enjoys a 6' super-king size bed, a dressing area and an en-suite bathroom.

As well as having access to the Estate's stunning gardens, guests at West Gables have their own private rear garden.

On the ground floor West Gables has a wonderful large open-plan kitchen and dining area with Belling electric range oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
The open plan kitchen provides a large dining table with 8 chairs.
In the utility area is a washing machine.
The ground floor also has a Cloakroom with wash basin and WC.

Lounge

West Gables has a large L shaped lounge with 2 distinct areas.
The sitting area has a 3-seater sofa and two armchairs and wood burning stove
The other side of the room has a large 3 seater sofa and smart TV with Freeview.

The Master Bedroom in West Gables is truly impressive.
Stepping up a small set of stairs you enter the room which is positioned over the archway of the property.

Bedroom 2 is situated on the same area of the landing as the Master Bedroom and has 2 single beds.
This is the ideal space for children who want to be close to their parents during the stay.

Bedroom 3 is at the other end of the landing from the Master and Bedroom 2
With 6' super-king size zip and link bed (which can be configured as 3' twin single beds on request) and en-suite shower room, with walk-in shower, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC.

Bedroom 4

Bedroom 4 is positioned next to bedroom 3 and has a 6' super-king size zip link bed (which can be configured as 3' twin single beds on request).
Immediately next to Bedroom 4 is the family shower room with walk-in shower, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC.

Rear Garden

West Gables has a large completely enclosed rear garden for guests to enjoy, with outdoor seating

Location

Arley is conveniently positioned in a very quiet and peaceful rural spot, yet is not far from the M6 and M56 motorways making it easily accessible for weekend breaks. The area is perfect for countryside walks and many of Cheshire's finest gardens and stately homes are nearby. If you fancy venturing further afield, the walled city of Chester, with its famous zoo can be reached in 30 minutes' drive. Alternatively Manchester and Liverpool are great day trip destinations, both can be reached in under an hour.
