Alcohol Ink on Canvas Workshop with Stephanie Claire

Sunday 18th October 2026

Spend a day doing something genuinely different and leave with a striking original painting you made yourself.

Stephanie Claire is a full-time Cheshire artist whose workshops regularly sell out. Working in the Coach House at Arley, she’ll guide you through the fluid, meditative world of alcohol inks, a medium that surprises and delights with every movement.

You’ll begin with practice pieces before moving on to your own 40×50cm canvas, working through techniques including blending, layering, creating texture and shaping space. Whether you want to bring to life abstract forms, moons, landscapes, florals or something entirely your own, Steph will guide you there.

Open to everyone, whether you haven’t picked up a brush since school or you’re a seasoned maker looking for something fresh.

What’s Included:

Welcome tea and coffee
All art materials — inks, canvas, tools, gloves and apron
Your 40×50cm canvas plus all practice pieces to take home
Free parking and entry into the gardens
10:30am–3pm · Limited to 10 places — booking essential.
