East House was built in the 1980s on the old foundations of the original dining room of Arley Hall which was demolished in 1968. Access to the cottage is through the main courtyard with its stunning archways and decorative brickwork which has stood the test of time.

Fully refurbished with a light and airy feel throughout, the ground floor boasts a fully-fitted modern kitchen with breakfast area, a separate formal dining room with double doors leading to a cosy sitting room with comfortable seating, a wood burning stove and views of the rear garden. On the first floor are four tastefully furnished double bedrooms, all with super-king size beds that can convert into full size single beds on request, offering flexible accommodation for friends and families to come together.

As well as having access to the Estate’s stunning gardens, guests at East House have their own private rear garden which is partly walled from the Chapel.

Arley Hall and Gardens is a stunning historic house and wedding venue with gardens open to the public for much of the year. Guests staying at East House have complimentary access to all of the facilities on-site including the award-winning manicured gardens, plant nursery, café and children’s play zone. Just outside the cottage’s front door is The Grove, a well-established arboretum and a Woodland Walk covering approximately 6-7 acres. Arley is conveniently positioned in a very quiet and peaceful rural spot, yet is not far from the M6 and M56 motorways, making it easily accessible for weekend breaks. The area is perfect for countryside walks and many of Cheshire’s finest gardens and stately homes are nearby. If you fancy venturing further afield, the walled city of Chester, with its famous zoo can be reached in 30 minutes’ drive. Alternatively Manchester and Liverpool are great day trip destinations, both can be reached in under an hour.
