The ground floor of The Hall will be decorated with fresh flowers and foliage from the gardens by local florists and colleges.

There will also be the Schools Christmas Tree Challenge taking place in the Cruck Barn.

The Gardener’s Kitchen Café will be serving delicious festival food and mulled wine and mince pies will be available.

Open daily, 10am – 4pm, no need to book but discounts available for early booking.

Friday 9th Floral Demonstrations with Jonathan Moseley

Since early childhood a fascination with flowers and nature have inspired Jonathan to become one of the UK’s leading designers within the floral art world. For over 25 years he has inspired and entertained audiences and individuals with his love of flowers through demonstrations, workshops and classes.

“Christmas at Arley Hall in Cheshire encompasses everything about the nostalgia and romance of the festive season. I am thrilled to be presenting a series of unique floristry demonstrations in Olympia on Friday 9th December. Come along and be inspired as I share the latest flowers , foliage, fruits and berries that stimulate my creativity at this exciting time of year. I will present a series of floral designs which will inspire you to go home and get creative! There will be two demonstrations which will be held in Olympia each day at 11am and 2pm.”

Run by Sneaky Experience, come along and be transported into a world of make believe as we present the inaugural ‘Once Upon a Christmas at Arley Hall’. This enchanting experience is unlike any other Father Christmas event, as you delve into a magical fairy-tale world to save Christmas!

Start your adventure with a tale of how the Snow Queen has kidnapped Father Christmas and outlawed all festivities. You will then embark on an immersive quest through the fairy-tale kingdom, meeting magical characters along the way, becoming heroes of your own winter legend and restoring the magic of Christmas!

This epic journey through the Hall, ends with the opportunity to meet and receive a present from Father Christmas, take photos and place a magic wish on Father Christmas’ Wishing Tree. – for further details Click Here

Sunday 15th Wedding Open Day

Come along and see the magnificent Hall set up for a wedding. Your wedding can be as grand or as intimate as you would like. Chat to the Arley staff who will be able to answer any questions you may have about any part of your special day. There are various locations at Arley where you can get married, from inside The Hall, in the Gardens in our award winning double herbaceous border or in the historic Cruck Barn, making it your choice.

You can see them all at this open day. A selection of our highly recommended suppliers will be here, each supplier has worked with Arley before and so we know you will get an excellent service. If you are not familiar with the format of a wedding ceremony, together with the Cheshire East Registrars you can go through the main points so you will know what to expect.

Open 10.00am to 3.00pm. No booking necessary, free entry and free parking.

Saturday 28th – Monday 30th Hall Open

Entry to the Hall will be from 10am – 3.30pm (last entry 3pm). Adult £6, Child (4-16) £2, Family (2 adults & up to 3 children) £15. No need to book.
